Today I went to the monthly meeting of the BasketCases, a sub-group of the Queensland Spinners and Weavers.
I worked on a couple of gourds that I had prepared by cutting, cleaning, varnishing and drilling holes in. I weaved palm inflorescence strands onto the top of the gourd using linen thread.
I would love to see how your gourds turned out. I have a few sitting here, waiting for me to find inspiration....
